Crypto isn't hypothetical here. Alaska expanded its money transmitter rules to cover virtual currency in 2023. Juneau-based Certified Quality Foods is putting seafood provenance on-chain. Hilcorp piloted Bitcoin mining at the Endicott oil field on the North Slope.
